The best all round car service!! Jason and his team are fantastic!!!!!!

Last week, my family was traveling with my sister & her family (from NC) to a family reunion when her van suddenly lost AC and power steering, and the battery stopped charging. I Googled "auto repair shops in Merrillville" since we were about 15 miles from the city. M&M Car Care Center was the first company to come up, so I called to explain the situation and see if they could work us in. Jason was extremely kind and told us to come right in, even giving us detailed directions on how to get there. Once we finally limped our way to his shop, he offered to get our family anything (bathrooms, drinks, etc.) while we waited for him to evaluate the problem. It ended up that the part that was broken had to be ordered and wouldn't get in until the next day. Jason immediately started calling rental car companies to try to find us a vehicle so we could continue on our trip. After two hours of all of us looking for a replacement vehicle, there were no rentals available for us. Since we had to get a hotel room for the night but still didn't have any transportation, Jason personally made multiple trips to get all of us and our luggage to our hotel, even though it took him at least an hour of his day just transporting us. He even loaded our car seat into his vehicle & helped us with loading up our kids. The next day when the necessary part arrived, the shop discovered we'd actually need another part replaced as well. That part was two hours away (round-trip), so Jason had his brother (on his day off) go get that part for the van. Since we had to check out of our hotel, Jason again made multiple trips to come back and pick us up from the hotel and take us back to his shop. Again, Jason and Bob were incredibly kind and offered to buy us food/drinks from the gas station or whatever we needed to be comfortable. They even let us hang out in Jason's lawn care shop so we'd have room to spread out and let the kids play while we waited. The care Jason and his staff showed us while we were stranded with them for over 24 hours was nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly kind, gracious, and accommodating. They went above & beyond what I've ever seen a mechanic shop do for a customer. If they weren't so far away, we'd always take our vehicles in to Jason's shop. We can't thank him enough for helping us in the midst of our crisis and getting us back on the road to our reunion.

Just had new brakes all around on my 06 DTS Cadillac and its like new now, they also added cold air induction to my 13 Camaro RS/SS special edition and I trusted them with both cars with total confidence!! Jason knows what he is doing and it is reasonable, they will soon be working on my 1958 Corvette!!!

Amazing customer service! If you own a corvette, don't take it to GM. They(GM)had my car for 2 days and couldn't figure out what the problem was, on the 3rd day they gave me $600 quote. Jason is the man to work on it. I would consider him a specialist considering he figured out my "column lock" issue in about 5 minutes and installed a by-pass kit for a very reasonable price. He is very knowledgeable on Corvette and many other sports cars. I will always have my car needs taken care of by M&M Car Center from now on.

I love the service. Each repair and oil change was done in excellence. Not to mention the prices, Really Fair. Need work don't definitely check them out!

This was my first time at M&M. No one told me about it, I read reviews and I called. Talked to Bob, he told me what his team would do, what needed to be done and that we would talk about it. There was no pressure to fix any other issues I have with my 15 year old Volkswagon Passat, (and I have a few) only what was needed to fix my problem at this time. Bob and his team fixed my problem in a very timely manner and I am pleased with the outcome. I will be going back to M&M to get some of those issues taken care of! I now know why they have a 4.9 out of 5 star reviews. Thank you MM!

One of the first things I did when I moved to indiana was find a mechanic. M&M has been taking care of my car for 3 years! Great customer service and pricing. They get you right in when you need them.

Received a brake job here. 1 week after installation brakes were making a noise (squeak sounding ). Didn't even bother with them because the guy working the desk was rude and arrogant IMO. I took it to another shop and $40 later it was the brake pad/caliper wasn't seated correctly. That was my 2nd time going to that shop and both times I had problems with work being done and the customer service. I will avoid from now on.

I initially called 2 days ago to tell them about grinding in my car and how I knew it was my brakes. Told them I needed to get my car into today and wait for work to be done since I juggle 2 jobs. Upon my arrival they quickly took my car in, and they told me what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. I was able to get front brakes done while waiting, and made appt to come back to get back brakes done and they told me how much that would cost as well! They were very friendly, honest and lightning fast. Heck yes Ill be back, and I will tell all my amigos about their great service. 5 stars all the way!
